1. How ILNA membership can benefit me?
ILNA membership
brings you a monthly issue of Language Press Bulletin
free
of charge. This keeps you updated on newspaper industry. Also
ILNA, as an
organization, helps you fight for causes, that an individual
newspaper
cannot.
2. What
is the cost of ILNA membership?
The entrance
fee is Rs. 500 for dailies, and Rs 300 for others. Membership
fee is Rs. 250 for the first 2,000 copies, and then gradually
increases,
based on larger circulation.
3. Does
ILNA train members?
ILNA conducts
workshops on techniques and procedures, on all aspects of
the
newspaper industry.
4. How
ILNA helps small and medium newspapers for getting advertisements?
ILNA cannot
help its members individually, but it helps collectively,
by
influencing Government advertising policy.
5. What is DAVP?
It stands
for The Director of Advertising & Visual Publicity. It
is the
agency of the Government of India, for advertising by the
various Ministries
and Organizations of the Government, including public sector
undertakings,
and autonomous bodies.
